Dear Mayle,
I refer to your letter of the 19th January 1946 and my letter to you of the 22nd January 46 on the subject of American interest in Hong Kong Water Supply.
I mentioned this matter to MacDougall and he said that my letter and enclosures of the 22nd Jan.46 were not received by him. It was agreed that I should take along further copies of the relevant correspondence with me to Hong Kong and try and get the matter cleared during my short stay there.
Yours sincerely,
WW/ Kenrick
